Welcome to Peter Hills with St Mary’s and St Paul’s Church of England Primary School's Website. I hope you find the information here useful, whether you are a prospective parent, an existing parent or a pupil.

Our website is regularly updated with the latest newsletters, information, dates, as well as examples of children’s work and events.

Peter Hills is a small primary school set in the heart of Rotherhithe. We serve two parishes and our children travel from far and wide to attend. We have 8 classes including a full time nursery class. Our children behave extremely well and are supported by a team of hard working, highly skilled and dedicated teachers, teaching assistants and other support staff. Peter Hill’s prides itself in having high standards of teaching, learning and behaviour. This is all underpinned with strong Christian values and principles.

The whole staff share a responsibility for raising standards and caring for the children as well as making learning fun and exciting. Our school motto is ‘Striving for excellence, caring for children’.

It is a great privilege to be the head teacher at Peter Hills and I am very proud of our pupils and the school’s achievements. We hope that our pupils leave Peter Hills having achieved their best and can look back with happy and positive memories of events, people and their time at the school.
